Privacy and Cookie Policy

Last updated: 5.10.2026

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data related to the use of the website available at https://hantech.net.pl/en/ is:

HANTECH Grzegorz Cieśla
ul. Truskawiecka 14/4
58-301 Wałbrzych, Poland
NIP (Tax ID): 886-301-82-63
REGON: 520101773
e-mail: biuro@hantech.net.pl
tel.: +48 796 996 912

2. Nature of the website

The website is informational and presents the activities, services and contact details of HANTECH.

The website does not provide user accounts, online ordering or newsletter subscriptions. It also does not contain a contact form.

3. Data that may be processed

When using the website, technical information may be processed, such as the IP address, browser information, operating system, device information and information contained in server logs.

If a user contacts HANTECH by e-mail or telephone, the controller may process information provided in connection with that contact, including the user's name, contact details and the content of the correspondence.

4. Purposes and legal bases for processing

Data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • ensuring the proper operation of the website;
  • ensuring website security and preventing abuse;
  • responding to messages and enquiries addressed to HANTECH;
  • conducting ongoing business communication;
  • establishing, pursuing or defending against potential claims;
  • complying with legal obligations applicable to the controller.

Depending on the circumstances, the legal basis may be Article 6(1)(b), (c) or (f) GDPR, or, where consent has been given, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

5. Data retention

Data is retained for no longer than necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

Data related to correspondence may be retained for as long as necessary to handle the matter and subsequently for a period justified by the nature of the matter, including for the purpose of establishing, pursuing or defending against potential claims.

Where applicable law requires certain data to be retained, it will be retained for the period required by that law.

6. Recipients of data

Data may be shared with service providers supporting the controller's business activities and the operation of the website, including hosting, e-mail and IT service providers, where necessary for the relevant purpose.

Data may also be disclosed to competent authorities where disclosure is required by law.

7. Google Maps

The website provides an interactive Google Maps map showing the location of the HANTECH production site.

The map is inactive by default and is not loaded when the website is first opened. To display the map, the user must give consent by selecting “I agree – Display map”.

Only after consent has been given does the website connect to the Google Maps service and load the map from Google's infrastructure. As a result, Google may receive technical information relating to the user's device and connection, including the IP address and information about the browser and use of the service. Google may also use cookies and similar technologies.

Consent to load the map is voluntary. Refusing consent does not affect the user's ability to use the rest of the website.

The user's choice is stored locally in the browser using localStorage, allowing the map to remain enabled during subsequent visits to the website. This information is not used by HANTECH for analytics, profiling or user tracking.

The user may withdraw consent at any time by selecting “Withdraw consent and hide map” next to the map. After consent is withdrawn, the relevant information stored in the browser's local storage is deleted and the map is hidden. Displaying the map again will require the user to give consent again.

Detailed information about Google's processing of data is available in Google's Privacy Policy and Google's information about cookies.

8. Cookies and local storage

The HANTECH website does not use its own cookies for analytics, user profiling, behavioural advertising or tracking user activity.

The website does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or other analytics or marketing tools. The website uses the browser's localStorage mechanism solely to remember the user's choice regarding the display of Google Maps. This allows the user's consent to be remembered without requiring the user to give consent again on every visit.

When consent is withdrawn, the relevant localStorage entry is deleted.

After consent has been given and Google Maps has been loaded, Google may use its own cookies and similar technologies. Their use is governed by Google's policies.

Users can also manage cookies and local storage through their web browser settings.

9. Data subject rights

To the extent provided for by the GDPR, data subjects have the right to:

  • access their personal data;
  • rectify their data;
  • erase their data;
  • restrict processing;
  • data portability, where provided for by the GDPR;
  • object to processing, where provided for by the GDPR;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, users may contact the controller at biuro@hantech.net.pl.

Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO).

10. Automated decision-making and profiling

HANTECH does not use website users' data for automated decision-making producing legal effects or similarly significant effects on users.

HANTECH does not profile website users for marketing purposes.

11. Security

The controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access.

12. Changes to this policy

This Privacy and Cookie Policy may be updated if the website's operation, the services used or applicable legal requirements change.

The current version of the policy is published on the HANTECH website.
